ANA Global Neurology Virtual Symposium 2024
The ANA Global Engagement Committee has an outstanding educational lineup prepared for the inaugural ANA Global Neurology Virtual Symposium being held December 2-3, 2024.
On Day One of the program, all ANA members are invited to attend. This day will feature a keynote address by Dr. Tarun Dua along with early career researcher presentations. Day Two is reserved for ANA members from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)* as it will feature programming on research, writing, and funding in limited resource settings.
The American Neurological Association provides complimentary membership to individuals in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). If you would like to join the ANA, please complete the online application here.
*Day Two is for LMIC students, trainees, assistant professors, and instructors (or equivalent).
Day One of the event offers CME and Day Two does not offer CME.

- Identify best practices to address gaps in neuroscience research capacity building in Low- and Middle-Income Countries.
- Develop a broad-based understanding of the practice of neurology in Low- and Middle-Income Countries.

- Understand and apply technical writing skills to produce clear, logical, and grammatically correct scientific manuscripts.
- Describe the fundamentals of conducting neurological research in resource-limited settings.
