Session Title: Global Neurology in the Time of COVID: Addressing Clinical Care, Research, and Education

Description: The COVID-19 pandemic has had major global impacts on neurology care, education, and research, particularly in resource-limited settings. In this session, a diverse group of leaders in global neurology from around the world will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on delivery of neurologic care, research, and neurology training.

Objective(s): 
Learners will be better prepared to navigate pandemic-induced changes in neurology by: 

  • Learning from diverse global leaders about challenges and successes around the world during the last year
  • Participating in a dialogue with global leaders from diverse practice settings about care delivery in the time of COVID-19
  • Applying innovative strategies to continue to advance global neurology care delivery, education, and research under current constraints
